Instead of settling for apartment units in core areas, working families appear to prefer the city outskirts and neighbouring districts.
Between this July and September, Rangareddy district generated Rs 5,121 crore revenue through registrations of property documents, which is 34.71% of the entire revenue generated in the State. The number of documents received by the Registrations and Stamps department during the same time from the district was 83,395.
Within the same timeframe, Medchal-Malkajgiri district generated Rs 3157 crore of revenue through registrations, which is 21% of the entire revenue generated in the State while the number of documents received by the department from the district was 43,251. Real estate transactions in Medak district between July and September generated revenue of Rs 1233 crore, which is 8.36% of the entire revenue generated by the department.
Compared to that, real estate transactions in Hyderabad and Hyderabad (South) between this July and September generated Rs 739 crore and Rs 1415 crore respectively. The number of documents received during the same time in Hyderabad and Hyderabad (south) was 5979 and 11,139 respectively.
