Hyderabad: Chief secretary S.K. Joshi on Wednesday instructed Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) officials to prepare proposals to set up a model bus stop in order to make Yadagiri a model town. The chief secretary asked officials to fix a deadline and complete the work within the given time frame.Joshi also asked TS Transco and Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd (TSSPDCL) to set up a 132/33-KV sub station by April 15. He asked officials to take up avenue plantation, smart street lighting, junction development, develop parks, markets, roads, sewerage network, footpaths and dumping yards at the earliest.The chief secretary also asked them to set up command control room, fire station and development of Gandicheruvu. Mr Joshi emphasised on the need to set up a veda patashala, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha sculpture, architecture institute and asked officials to take necessary actions. yadagirigutta having amenities by Government
Many other amenities planned in the temple town: A model bus station will be constructed soon at Yadagirigutta and the government directed the officials to prepare proposals for it and other development work along with time-lines for execution.Addressing a review meeting with the Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority members at the Secretariat here on Wednesday, Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi said steps should be taken for commencing the work after fixing timelines for the bus station at the temple town.
Power sub-station:Keeping in view the anticipated pilgrim and tourist traffic to Yadagirigutta town, all development work should be taken up to provide infrastructure facilities. The 132/33 kv sub station should be constructed by April 15 at Pedda Gutta.
Action plan: Steps are also being taken for the implementation of an action plan for development, including for avenue plantation, smart street lighting, development of parks, markets, junctions, roads, drainage, footpaths, dumping yard etc., Mr. S.K. Singh said.Mr. Joshi instructed that a command and control centre and fire station should also be set up at Yadagirigutta besides widening of roads, development of Gandi Cheruvu, preparation of Master Plan and provision for drinking water supply.
